Strike Walks the Walk

Washington D.C., 14 May 2000 - Hopeful presidential candidate Jackie Strike was spotted at the Million Mom March in Washington DC.. Asked if her participation in one of many nationwide rallies stood in relation to her position on gun control, Mrs Strike responded, "I'm here to show that my place is not in the pocket of the NRA, but alongside the families who have lost children to fire arms." She continued, "No lobbying organization will work out of my office. I am here today, working from where I will always work: from the people's office."
