Strike II
Hope Creek, 30.September 2000 - THE ASSASINATION ATTEMPT ON JACKIE STRIKE IN SEATTLE IS ONLY A FEW WEEKS AGO, when there´s a second try...
On September 29, during the fifth Centennial Convention in Hope Creek Millenium Dome, the New Hampshire Candidate who had dedicated her
candidacy to Lady Diana Spencer, bent down to hug a young girl who was wearing a small likeness of Our Princess of the Hearts.
At that precise moment, Ali Orcaca, an Iranian assassin, fired two shots at her head at close range. The bullets missed Mrs. Strike but
hit two voters standing nearby. Orcaca fired again hitting Jackie in the abdomen. Had she not bent down to hug that little girl wearing
the picture of Diana, those two bullets would have ripped through her skull probably killing her instantly.
43 year old Orcaca was captured
immediately.
Hit in the abdomen, left hand and right arm, the hopeful was critically wounded. Doctors were able to save her life largely
because Orcaca's bullets missed any vital organs.
As she convalesces at Strikeland, NH, Jackie Strike becomes even more prayerful. She prays
to Our Princess of the Hearts since she is convinced that it was her direct intercession that saved her life.
"As you know, Jackie immediately pardoned her attacker and the candidate told American authorities that she was in favor of an act of clemency
if American law permitted it," Strike spokesman Dewey Cooper said.
"She has been insisting on this. We are not surprised. We are very happy."
