Who is Howard W. Campbell Jr. PhD?

He's smart, modern, dynamic, and unlike many campaign managers, Howard's got a degree. His doctoral thesis "On Politicality: Chewing on the Bone of the Human Political Intellect" opened new discussions in political circles, and caused quite an uproar in Washington.

Now campaigning for Jackie Strike, Howard invites everyone to bite the bone of democracy.

Campbell's Political Roots

From an early age, Campbell was fascinated by the origins of political tendency. Howard recalls pondering politicality along his delivery routes on the back roads of Barstow, California. It was during his first gig in sales, when the teenage paperboy's political ambitions were born.

One afternoon, while Howard was out trying to acquire new subscribers for the Evening Post, an angry potential customer proclaimed that he would not allow such "liberal trash" in his house, then slammed the door in Howard's face. Dumbfounded, the 13-year-old Howard wondered what it was that made subscribers tend toward or against liberal publications. Ironically, this event would open the door to a long and fruitful career in politics.

Campbell began reading the works of Alfonso Kinski and sketching out his own theory of homo- and heteropoliticality. Indeed, he would make the search for man's political roots his life's work.

hmmmmm...What is Campbell's Corner?

Howard W. Campbell Jr. PhD has established this corner as a "thinking spot" and platform for political discourse.

Here, he invites concerned voter's to take a deeper look at politics in order to get at our true political nature.

Man is, by nature, a political animal. In Campbell's Corner, he seeks to explore the reasons why. Each week, Campbell will present here excerpts of his controversial thesis, boldly titled "On Politicality: Chewing on the Bone of the Human Political Intellect"

Political Attraction

What determines whether or not two persons are attracted to one another? The answer to this question is political orientation or political identity. In the 1940s Alfonso Kinski studied political practices in the United States and devised a scale for political orientation. The scale ranges from heteropoliticality or basic political attraction to the other party, to homopoliticality, or basic political attraction to the same party. Midway on the scale is bipoliticality, which means political attraction to both parties.

Kinski concluded that most people do not exhibit exclusively heteropolitical or homopolitical behavior. Many adults, however, label themselves as one or the other. About 10 percent of the people in Kinski's study identified themselves as homopolitical. Whether homopoliticality was condemned or accepted, every civilization throughout history has included homopolitical men and women.

There have been many attempts to explain the origin of political orientation. Some believe there is evidence that it is biological. Others believe it is learned behavior. Political orientation is very complex and most likely a combination of many factors. There are many religious and cultural attitudes about political orientation. Many religions specifically allow, encourage, or condemn various political behaviors. This may involve an attempt to encourage people to conform to heteropoliticality to ensure the continuance of the reproductive government.
